Dallas Co-op Teams up With Texas Rangers to Bring Baseball to the Next Level

Baseball is, of course, an extremely popular sport, one that many were eagerly waiting to return during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Dallas Co-op is pleased to be able to say that their Dallas Fort Worth clubs are teaming up with the Texas Rangers as their official gym. This is the second season in a row that Planet Fitness claims that title.

The Dallas Co-op didn’t want to miss the big moment of the start of the baseball season. The official season kicked off on April 5, and Planet Fitness was featured on the outfield wall during the opening day. In addition, they have sponsored the first walk of every game as the “Judgement-Free Walk” with digital signage, including in-park and radio announcements.

“We are proud to join the Texas Rangers in ushering in this new era of Texas Rangers Baseball,” said Excel Fitness VP of Marketing Chris Epper. “A new ballpark, a great team, and two strong brands mean more fun and excitement for the fans. We’re committed to partnering with the Texas Rangers to take baseball in the state of Texas to the next level.”

The Texas Rangers team is also involved with the Boys & Girls Club, an organization that Planet Fitness franchisees often support. The Dallas Co-op is investigating additional ways to extend the partnership with the Rangers outside of just the park and games. The group wants to make a positive impact on their community and teaming up with the Rangers provides a great opportunity for outreach. It will be great to see how these organizations come together to make a difference.
