Eclipse Fitness Group Aces Generosity with Golf Tournament
Giving back and promoting fitness for all is on par with what Planet Fitness® franchisees believe in, with its Judgement Free Zone® ideology. Eclipse Fitness Group joined the green to give back by participating in the Southern Soccer Academy annual golf tournament on June 6. The tournament helped raise funds to provide financial aid for families in need, giving more kids the opportunity to participate in the SSA’s soccer programs.
Regional Director of Operations at Eclipse Fitness Paul Cook, Regional Manager Tyler Landmon and parents of current SSA players Jason Chambers and Jesse Evans represented Eclipse Fitness in the 18-hole scramble at the Marietta City Club in Marietta, Georgia. There were 36 teams in total competing.
Eclipse Fitness paid to participate in the event, supporting a worthy cause of youth sports. The group also donated a one-year PF® membership to the raffle. As a result of the tournament, over $17,000 was donated to SSA.
While Eclipse Fitness did not win on the green, they did appreciate the opportunity to give back to the cause. “It was a pleasure to play in SSA’s annual golf event. This fundraiser plays a vital role in helping less fortunate families gain access to financial aid, ensuring their children can benefit from top-quality facilities and great coaching,” said Cook.
