Eclipse Fitness ‘Putts’ Emphasis on Giving Back with Local Golf Tournament

Eclipse Fitness has getting involved with the local community down to a “tee.” This fall, the franchise group sponsored a golf tournament coordinated by the Chi Omega sorority at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia.

The golf tournament, “Chi Omega Swing for Wishes Presented by Eclipse Fitness,” raised money for Make-A-Wish, an organization that provides wishes to children with critical illnesses. It was a student-led event, in which each team of four players paid $300 to play. There were around 60 players in total who participated. All the money raised from the event went straight to Make-A-Wish.

Eclipse Fitness sponsored a local sorority’s golf tournament, leading to around $14,000 being raised for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Eclipse Fitness was the sorority’s largest donor, contributing $1,500 for the cause, as well as some Planet Fitness® merch to hand out to participants. With Eclipse’s help, the Chi Omega sorority was able to raise around $14,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
