Community involvement is a great way to reach prospective Planet Fitness^® members and show community members that Planet Fitness invests in the causes they care about. Excel Fitness was thrilled to be a part of Round Rock ISD’s first-ever Employee Wellness Fair in February. With the theme “Your Health Is a Marathon, Not a Sprint,” the event brought in thousands of staff from the school district in Central Texas. Round Rock ISD has over 46,000 students and 56 schools, as well as around 6,000 staff members.

Excel Fitness enjoyed connecting with teachers and staff at the event. The Excel Fitness team were able to share resources about Planet Fitness, reminding all attendees of the importance of investing in their fitness for a lifetime journey of health. The event was also a great opportunity for the franchise group to share their excitement for their new Austin (Lake Creek), Texas, club opening at the end of February. It was a successful day of supporting local teachers and staff and encouraging them to take part in investing in their health.
