Excel Fitness to Open New Clubs in North Carolina and Texas

This has been a year unlike any other. With the pandemic affecting many aspects of daily life, it can be difficult to find a sense of normalcy. However, Excel Fitness has some encouraging news to share: they’re currently in the process of opening a handful of clubs.

Markets started opening back up in May of this year, and Excel’s plan is to have opened a total of five new clubs by the end of the year when all is said and done. The last two to open are a location in Brier Creek, North Carolina (which is in the Raleigh area) and a location in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Both the Brier Creek location and the Laurinburg location will feature quality facilities, including full locker rooms, classy Black Card Spa amenities and brand-new equipment.

To get these two new clubs launched and ready to go, Excel Fitness set both online and in-person presales into motion. Spreading the word about the new clubs was a necessary part of the plan, but it was also beneficial to be able to show the clubs themselves. “We’re excited to reopen and get expanding,” said Chris Epper, vice president of marketing. “We know how crucial that is with fitness being considered essential by so many.” Epper recognizes how crucial wellness is, which is one reason why the opening of these clubs is so important.

However, Excel Fitness isn’t going to stop with opening these clubs in 2020. There are plans for a new club in Saginaw, Texas. The new facility is projected to open in late Q1 or early Q2 of 2021. The group wanted to take advantage of Q1, as opening a new club can really help get the year off to a great start. The new location is in a suburb of Fort Worth, and Epper pointed out that this is an ideal area in which to open because of the support of local media outlets.

2020 has been a tough year, but thankfully that hasn’t stopped Excel Fitness from bringing fitness and wellness to these communities.
