Houston Fitness Partners Kicks Off 2026 With Geared for Giving Donations

Community giving is a common theme with Planet Fitness® franchise groups. Houston Fitness Partners is no stranger to these initiatives. The group has officially kick-started Geared for Giving through its “Lift the Community” initiative for 2026. Through this program, Houston Fitness Partners gives back to the community with a quarterly donation to local organizations making a positive impact throughout Houston.

“Geared for Giving reflects who we are as an organization. At Houston Fitness Partners, we believe our responsibility extends beyond the walls of our clubs and into the communities we serve every day,” said Kate Klein of Houston Fitness Partners. “Through this initiative, we’re able to support organizations that are creating meaningful change across Houston while empowering our teams to lead with purpose, compassion and accountability.”

In charge of the first quarter Geared for Giving Committee was the Energy Corridor Club. The team selected two charitable organizations: Texas Center for the Missing and HOPE Clinic. The committee ended up raising $2,500 for each organization to continue supporting their efforts in the community.

Texas Center for the Missing is a Houston-based nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting the missing and their families through crisis intervention, prevention and community education. The nonprofit organization was founded in 2000 and has proudly served Houston ever since. It seeks to impact the missing person’s crisis through community education, law enforcement preparation and engaging community leaders to handle cases. The ultimate goal is to bring every missing person home.

HOPE Clinic is a full-time, federally qualified health center. It serves over 20,000 unique patients with over 100,000 visits a year. They provide health care services to patients who may be uninsured, under-insured, low-income or those with limited English proficiency. HOPE Clinic provides services in 30 different languages.

As Houston Fitness Partners celebrates a successful first donation to these organizations, the franchise will set its sights on its second quarter donation.
