Houston Fitness Partners Opens Four New Locations in Houston Area
In March and April, Houston Fitness Partners opened four new locations in the Houston area. The four locations included the Katy Fry, Spring, Greater Heights and Crosby clubs, all located in or around Houston.
The new locations range in size from 18,000 to 25,000 square feet. The Katy Fry and Crosby clubs were originally Kroger supermarkets. The Spring club was previously a Gordman’s shopping center, while the Greater Heights club had housed a Family Thrift. On April 13, the group celebrated the new locations with grand-opening parties that offered giveaways, food trucks, DJs and ribbon cuttings.
The franchisee group operates 33 locations in the metro Houston area with its newest location opened June 2 in Pearland. Houston Fitness Partners plans to open a total of seven new clubs this year. The franchise also had one club, Humble, relocate in March.
According to The Katy News, Houston Fitness Partners also welcomed state Reps. Jacey Jetton and Ed Thompson in some of the Planet Fitness® Houston locations in honor of National Fitness Day May 7, a holiday that highlights the importance of an active lifestyle. The state representatives were educated on the role Planet Fitness has on the economy and the health of Texans.
Along with opening new locations, Houston Fitness Partners has been busy this year giving back to the community by partnering with organizations, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Pro-Vision Inc.
