Houston Fitness Partners Spreads Word to Local News Outlets
Every year, Planet Fitness® has its High School Summer Pass program, which encourages thousands of young adults to stay active throughout the summer. The program allows 14-19-year-olds to come in to work out in Planet Fitness clubs, providing kids with a safe, judgement-free place to stay healthy. Houston Fitness Partners has partnered with local media outlets to spread the news about the amazing program.
Kevin Adjei, the manager at HFP’s Greater OST location, made a special appearance on Fox 26 for a live interview on May 30. Adjei did a great job highlighting the benefits of the HSSP program, as well as PF®’s supportive atmosphere and free fitness training available to all participants.
“I didn’t think being on TV would be on my bucket list for 2025, but here we are! I really appreciate the opportunity to share more about this amazing program,” said Adjei.
On top of that, one of HFP’s regional directors, Joshua Chatman, helped spread the word by visiting CW39 on June 4 to talk about the HSSP. Both media clips reached an estimated 300,000 viewers in the Houston area. In June, HFP had over 60,000 teens sign up for HSSP across their Houston area locations. These efforts with local media were helpful for bringing awareness to the HSSP and hopefully leading the next generation to move, grow and feel great through exercise and fitness.
