Jost ADK and Colorado Collective Sponsor Kids’ Golf Tournament
Planet Fitness® franchisees love to make a difference in their communities, and they are always looking for ways to lend a helping hand. The Jost family and the Colorado Collective have supported the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver since 2016, and recently, they found a new way to be there for the organization.
Jost ADK Inc., on behalf of Planet Fitness Colorado, was the presenting sponsor for the first annual Kids Cup Golf Tournament. All the donations from the sponsorships and the donations collected the day of the tournament went directly to support the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver.
Included in the sponsorship were 12 golf spots and a sponsorship table. “We had a tent and table at the first hole and had PF® corn hole for all to play to warm up their arm,” Robin Jost, department head of accounting and human resources for Jost ADK, explained. “We gave out water and also talked to many of the board members about our commitment to the Boys & Girls Club.”
The group also had giveaways in the form of PF swag bags, and they gave out information about PF Colorado clubs. And they didn’t stop there – the Jost brothers (Jason, Rich and Jonny) played in the tournament, as did Shannon Spencer of the Belmont/Merlo Group and other colleagues the Josts work with in Colorado. The event also included a luncheon and awards ceremony.
This was only the first year the event has been held, but it raised $70,000 for the B&GC of Metro Denver! It is great to hear that the tournament was a success, and it is wonderful to see the Colorado Collective band together to support the B&GC. It is a worthy cause, and the support from Jost ADK will help the organization continue their work with the youth of Denver.
