National Fitness Partners Celebrates the Opening of Its 100th Club
National Fitness Partners is all set to celebrate a major milestone by holding a grand opening for its 100th club! The new gym opened in November in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
To mark the opening of the club, NFP partnered with a local grocery store to give away $25 gift cards to the first 150 people to come to the club, the intent being to help people with holiday meal costs. The official grand opening will be in late February, and the team is already brainstorming ideas to make the event extra special for such an achievement!
“The milestone of opening our 100th club, especially while in the midst of the pandemic, means a lot to our team,” said Jenna Iorfida, director of community marketing for National Fitness Partners. “It shows we have the right leadership and team members in place to support the current and future growth of NFP. It also shows that we are able to overcome any obstacle that gets in our way and come out on top.”
While National Fitness Partners is thrilled about opening the newest location, it also looks forward to future development. “We remain confident with the long-term growth of the Planet Fitness® brand, as encouraging membership and utilization trends continue to point to a successful re-emergence from the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Stephen Kindler Jr., president and CEO of National Fitness Partners. “The opening of our 100th club, along with our recent acquisition of seven Planet Fitness clubs, fits perfectly into our long-term strategic plan by expanding our reach into important new markets and strengthening our efforts to ensure more people have access to affordable fitness options. We believe regular exercise plays an essential role in enhancing the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our members.”
Each new opening is cause for celebration – even more so when it is the 100th, which foretells great things to come for National Fitness Partners!
