Being involved with the Boys & Girls Club is a way many PF^® franchise groups extend their community involvement and connect with youth in their areas. The PF Growth Partners team in Florida enjoyed some old-school fun recently when it participated in a half-day field day with the Broward County Boys & Girls Club.

The field day included exciting games, cool prizes, a hydration station, fitness gram and more to ensure the youth had a great time. Trainers from each Florida club were present and went to work teaching proper technique when using free weights, body weight exercises, stationary equipment and Smith machines.

Naturally, health and safety were the top priority, so masks and sanitizer were front and center for the duration of the field day. Even a little rain couldn’t put a damper on the fun – the field day simply transitioned inside!

“Our Florida team has been so eager to reconnect with the Boys & Girls Club of Broward,” said Andres Jara, marketing coordinator for PF Growth Partners. “The challenges of the past two years made this kind of event impossible until now. We are excited to be able to team up with them once again. We plan to continue the fitness education of youth in South Florida.”
