PLNTF Holdings Takes Boys & Girls Club Youth to Northwestern Wildcats Basketball Game

Going to a basketball game is an exciting, fun experience – the cheering, the squeak of shoes on the court, the swoosh of the net and the electric game day atmosphere. PLNTF Holdings wanted to give this experience to youth who are part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC), so they figured out a way to make it happen.

The PLNTF Holdings team worked with Northwestern University to provide 23 tickets to BGCC participants so they could attend the Northwestern versus New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) game. To make it easier for the kids to get to the game, PLNTF ensured there was transportation. There were several goodies for the kids, too, including co-branded T-shirts and food vouchers so the attendees could enjoy stadium food, a necessity when attending a basketball game.

Northwestern University won the game handily, which was exciting, and the kids were even featured on the scoreboard several times during the game. The group had a blast going to the game, and seeing how PLNTF Holdings and Northwestern were able to partner to make this happen for the BGCC youth is a wonderful example of how PF clubs love to make a difference in their communities.
