Those who work in operations at Planet Fitness^® are the ones who keep the clubs functioning to their highest potential. There are many moving pieces that make up running a Planet Fitness club smoothly, so the role requires a hard-working, skilled individual.

Around seven years ago, Scott McCreery started working at United Fitness Partners as the regional director of operations. Previously, he had worked at Starbucks for over 24 years, working in various operational roles for the company. He was able to apply his operations expertise from Starbucks to the fitness world at Planet Fitness.

His hard-working nature was quickly noticed by his colleagues, and over his tenure, he has been promoted multiple times to various roles, including ops services director, senior director field operations & ops services, and vice president of operations. Over the summer, he reached another milestone in his career with UFP – he was promoted to chief operating officer. In his newest role, he will continue to drive results, foster cross-functional collaboration, and create positive impact for UFP’s members and teammates.
